M07 Listening As A Trauma-Informed Practice (TICC-H00-M07)

Description

M07 Listening skills are often an undervalued, deeply important skill to creating trust and safety when communicating.  In this module, Listening As A Trauma-Informed Practice, we explore how to listen, not only with our ears, but with our whole body through our sensory acuity.  We look at how listening from different perspectives and different awarenesses can improve our ability to bring a more powerful response.  Finally, we look at what we bring to the listening and how listening for values deepens a person's willingness to be vulnerable giving us an even deeper understanding of what's important in the moment.
