M06 An Introduction To Trauma-Informed Communication (TICC-H00-M06)

Description

M06 Having completed the foundational concepts of the training, we now delve more deeply into the specifics of how we listen and use our words in communication starting with building rapport and noticing the assumptions in our language.  Rapport is how we communicate before we even say a word, and is a very powerful and easy tool for creating connection in the first 60 seconds of an interaction.  Finally go through some basic teachings of how we (and others) make meaning when we are listening and speaking.  This module is a fun one for practicing how we can use non-verbals to positively impact the people we are interacting with on a daily basis.
